My service wasn’t perfect, as I did the speed test outside of the normal LTE area. The photos are correct, though! You can see the first one listed as LTE Verizon at the top of the image.

You better call verizon about your speed test … In the first picture it shows you only got about 700 kbps up! That seems more typical of a basic cable upload speed. I have never gotten that slow of an upload using LTE service. I think you labeled them in your review backwards, MAYBE! Also, it would be awesome if LTE was rated at 25 mbps, but it’s not

You talk about having the new iPad for years but I saw in one review that they no longer clip, but rather glue, these devices together as of the new high graphics iPad2. They even glue the battery in. I’m not sure how Apple plans to service these devices or expects them to be the bic lighters of iPads. Any insights?

It can’t easily be duped by a pineapple because it checks to see if the AP has the same MAC as it remembers. Ofcourse, you could always spoof your MAC, but I haven’t really explored this yet.

Ahh, I see where the confusion was. My statements in the review were backwards- the front cam is terrible, the back cam (facing out) is fine.

I find the rear camera, which is 5 MP to be great, as is the iPhone 4, which has the same camera, while the front camera is terrible, with VGA quality.

Hi Don,
There’s no glue on the camera, it’s just a crappy camera. The Apple website specifies the front cam as 5 megapixel, but it does look better. While the back one is ‘VGA quality’ (I believe is 0.3 megapixels), and basically looks like I’m taking photos with a consumer webcam. I guess I could call it ‘grainy’ even in good lighting.
Maybe they’ll include a better camera in future iPads!
