After watching the new show with ssl strip i can definately see the difference in educational value. Darren, Matt, make the show how you want, great job. I will always find value in your shows, as long as there is sound and a little video.

I thought that argument about the virtualization software was both educational and entertaining. I thought it was worth watching the show just to find out that virtualbox doesn’t support newer directx. If you listen closely they always throw in “key words” that spark interest to learn more, on my own time. If they didn’t say anything at all about vm’s I would be months behind others, but now I’m months ahead of the best “computer tech in town,” concerning Virtualization anyway.

These people actually have a passion for IT and they know the value of information. Without someone to say at least something, some specific word, then all your left with is ” I dunno,” go to the vmware website and try and learn something. It may take a while just to understand what the software is!! NOt with Matt and Darren, and when I see there faces, I know their passionate about computers, so I trust them. And if they just wanna goof off and say, “that’s sweet,” then I can relate to them because I’ve been there, using that software, and I said, That’s Sweet, I didn’t know anyone to verify that for me and make it real at the time, just as soon as they say “that’s cool,” it’s a million words of education, and of infinite value. What they do is an art, they are humans.

After releasing the amount of information that Matt and Darren presented in the VmWare Segment. I think it’s time to dumb it down a little because it isn’t worth “their” time in world full of idiots. And I mean idiots not because of lack of education, but lack of care. If you don’t care about computers, and I’m trying to teach you, I get mad really fast. Because it’s a waste of time and turns a beautiful mind into a pile of garbage. Lay off of the Hak5 team or give them a reason to care.
