In this episode we speak with RFID expert AMAL about injection -- no, not the wireless packet variety, we're talking radio implants! Plus, George Spillman and I geek out about Toorcamp and going to the end of the world on the end of the world, quite literally! Finally, I've got two words for ya: LASER HANDS. All that and more, this time on this special Season 12 premiere of Hak5!

Darren, you look so excited! I’m glad you had fun, it looks pretty awesome and I may have to look into getting into one of these. Thanks!

  • Oh! Washington has the best trees! Hacking Barter Faire would be awesome…. Drums, Packets and Hippie Hackers…..

  • Nice work on the RFID interview but the URL is amal.net instead of amel.net :)

  • How do we opt out of PineNumbers?

  • You don’t opt out of PineNumbers. if you cat /bin/pinenumbers | less , you’ll see what information is being collected.

You must absolutely remember that Hak.5 works directly alongside the government. They provide them with samples. They provide them with information, in the case that a pineapple is used for bad. The government likes Hak.5 and wants Hak.5 to continue. It’s a very nice and efficient way to keep tabs on that subset of viewers who can afford to buy and use these neat devices.

Think of it like recruiting. In the U.S., doesn’t it go: do bad, get caught, do bad for the sake of good?

Hak.5 are merely doing their patriotic duty. Besides… who still watches this show?

  • The RFID implant was done about 7 years ago.. take a look at Kevin Warrick (The University of Reading .. UK), also i think one of the universities in america was also doing a similar test at the same time
