Not really, it is a cross between adhoc and what madwifi has been able to do for years which is create virtual interfaces off the one main one.
I think one of the main reasons it won't take off is because of the new idea from the WiFi people for a system which sounds like bluetooth over 802.11. From what I've read it can be used to link to peripherals and to other machines in a similar way to adhoc. -------------------- |
