Forgive my noobness but I just installed Jasager v2 and am loving the module setup. But how do you write up modules and install them? I was hoping to do an "Upside Down Ternet" Module to start and get the feel for how its done.

Thank you, you are the first person who has asked about writing modules!

Unfortunately upsidedownternet wouldn't be a module and you can't really do it on just the Fon as it doesn't have the processing power to handle it. Best way to do it is to use linux as your ICS machine and get it working on there as all the traffic flows through it it is as much a man in the middle as the Fon is.

Thanks Digininja, when i first read about being able to setup something like that really intrigued me. I've really never done any serious coding like that before ( the last time i coded was java a few years back lol) and truth be told the Jasager was my first hack but it seemed like a great platform to get me started smile.gif

If you do want to write a module there are basic instructions on my site and I'm happy to help.

Basically you create a command line script that responds to two calls, one asking for an xml description of what it does and the other telling it to do something.

They can be written in any language that will run on the Fon.
