The DemonSeed EDU is an educational hardware implant for making good USB cables bad.
What is it? Well, it’s not the O.MG Cable... the end result is missing nearly every feature that the O.MG Cable offers. DemonSeed EDU is for people who want to build a very low feature malicious USB cable implant the hard way, and do it with the bare minimum hardware. The primary goal of DemonSeed EDU is to think about non-standard ways of working with hardware.
DemonSeed EDU can deliver small keystroke injection payloads (O.MG Cable has 250x more storage space for payloads). DemonSeed EDU has no wireless interface like the O.MG Cable, but you can try implementing an ultra primitive RF trigger that produces very limited range (think inches or a few feet). Even data passthrough for DemonSeed EDU uses some very hacky tricks to make it happen.
Before you buy, please check out the DemonSeed EDU video series to see if its a good fit for you. There is a lot of open source tooling used, so be ready to google when you encounter problems!
